Refund policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, or by reciept of postage, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, tags still attached and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We strongly recommend sending your goods back via a tracked service and retaining proof of postage until you have received your refund notification. If you do choose to use an untracked service your order cannot be tracked, we cannot be held responsible for your lost order, therefore, we will be unable to process your claim for a refund.

We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

 

Shipping
To return your product,  you must first make contact though email at thelittletinhouse@yahoo.com

Once confirmation of your return is recieved you can then mail your product to the following address for processing:

The Little Tin House, Bridge Street, Clifden, Co.Galway,  Galway H71 D431, Ireland

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
It is highly recommended that you return your items Via registered post as we cannot be held responsible for items lost on their way back to us in the post.

To complete your return, we may require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) --- -Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.


Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

 
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email first to check availability at thelittletinhouse@yahoo.com and then after confirmation we have an item to exchange to you send your item to:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate for the current value will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
